Online Triage

From Monday 6th January 2025, Ancora Medical Practice will be trialling an online triage facility for medical and administrative enquiries.
 
Medical enquiries will be triaged by a Clinician and patients will be signposted to and seen by the most appropriate service – this could be a Doctor, Practice Nurse, Nurse Associate, HCA, Social Prescriber, Pharmacy, Sexual Health, Physiotherapy and many other services that are available.
 
From the 6th January, before contacting the surgery, please use the online triage facility. Initially, there will be limited availability, and once we have reached capacity the service will be unavailable and patients will need to contact the surgery.
 
The form can be accessed through our website https://www.ancoramedicalpractice.nhs.uk/appointments SystmOnline or via the NHS App.
 
This service is not for urgent requests, if you need urgent medical assistance, please contact 111 or 999 in a medical emergency.

Measles Information - Please Read

Measles cases are on the rise and the disease is highly infectious. 

Measles is more than just a rash and can lead to serious complications including meningitis and blindness, particularly in babies and young children. 

Please DO NOT attend the surgery and call us on 01724 842244 if you have any symptoms.

Opening Hours

We now open the doors of our Ashby Road surgery at 08:00am Monday to Saturday, Saturdays are for pre booked appointments only.

Our Detuyll Street surgery opens its doors from 08:30am Monday - Friday.

All opening hours are excluding bank holidays. 

The telephone lines will be open and answered from 08:00am, our triage is open from 07:30am every morning, excluding bank holidays and you are advised to use our triage, where available, for all appointment needs.

You can access our admin triage during our contracted hours Monday - Friday and this should be utilised for prescription requests, Med3 requests and all general admin enquiries.
